More question than comment
I like your items ... wish I had the money to purchase them. The question is this ... how did you determine what price to ask for your items? Are they actually selling at that price?

Re: More question than comment
I'll answer your second question first: not yet. As to how I determined the prices: I more or less used the same formula as the one for pricing jewelry. I found it here: http://www.home-jewelry-business-success-tips.com/pricing-handmade-jewelry-too-low.html

I'm still not really asking what I *should* for them, if you consider that it takes about an hour to make one of the simpler bracelets - let's not start on the beaded ones...

I did make a post about how the bracelets are made here: http://dragonsthreads.blogspot.com/ so you can get an idea of the work that's involved. So I *can't* price them lower, or it wouldn't make sense for me to either make or offer them.

I'm happy to wait for someone to whom my work is *worth* the price I'm asking... ^___^

If I see anything on Etsy that I really like, then I either start putting money aside for it, or do something like sell some doujinshis - for the money I make from them, I'll buy something else.

Oooops... sorry, long answer... ^__^;

Re: More question than comment
Actually I appreciate a long answer when it actually answers my questions so Thank you. I will definitely check out that link although how much good it will do me since I am thinking of selling things I've sewn (like little stuffed animals, plastic canvas, quilts) I have no idea. I will keep you site in mind since there were a couple of the bracelets that I liked. ^_^

Re: More question than comment
:)

It's hard to determine prices, I know. On the other hand, like the author of that article says, if you sell too cheap, you not only undersell your own worth, you're underselling other crafters. And giving buyers the appearance that all handmade products should be cheap - in the negative sense of the word.

^___^ Well, so far they're still available. :) But free shipping will only be this week, because of EURO week on Etsy...

I always do batches. Like when I did the pillows - I did ten in a row before I put them up. And the bracelets, too. I did a whole bunch of them before I put them up for sale. So maybe if you work ahead and make a batch of products first, and then put them up?

Thank you! I'm glad you like them. ^___^
