I'm loaded...

^____^;

I can now confirm that I'm loaded - with gallstones... That was the source of that unpleasantness Friday night.

They're very small, but there are lots of them. Right now, I have a hand full of pain meds and the admonition to watch what I eat. I'm going to be delving into my wealth of natural and homeopathic alternatives, to see whether I can't get rid of these on my own...

The rest of me is in perfect shape! ^___^

Oh dear. It's not serious, right? You're okay?

I'm sending Cloud with sleepy-time tea.

Cloud: *holding tea pot* "Ooh, is it nap time?"

Well, there are all these little rocks. And from time to time they stop up the tube that the bile takes to get to the intestine. And then it lets me know that it's stopped up. And I try to twist myself into a pretzel, because that's how much it hurts. But otherwise, yeah, I'm fine! :)

*holds out big cup*

I'll take that tea, thank you, Cloud!

Cloud: *worried* "Ooh, how do the rocks come out?" *pours tea* "Night-night time! Here, have a me plushie, it'll make you feel better, just squeeze it. You can squeeze me too." *giggle*

That part about the rocks, that worries me, too. I'm not so sure how they come out - except for the hard way - pushing through a much too small tube and giving me lots of pain.

But we'll see... :)

*slurps tea*

Thank you! It's perfect!

We'll see. As long as they stay where they are, everything's fine... It's when they move and block the tube, that I'm likely to be in pain. We'll see how it goes. Right now I'm feeling perfectly fine. :)

Good luck! I don't know anything about gallstones. I hope they won't be too hard to get rid of.

I'm going to try a few things from my grab-bag of alternative medicine. We'll see what works... :) I'm not letting anyone take anything out of my body, yet...

*Hugs* I hope you manage to get rid of them on your own. Even though it is unpleasant, at least you know what it is - always easier to deal with a definite than a what if scenario.

Yeah. One always tends to paint the grimmest of scenarios. It's good to know that it's really 'nothing', compared to what it *could* have been... :)

I'll manage. Have to watch what I eat and see what alternatives are available, medicine wise.

Wow, that can be really unpleasant, look after yourself and don't be slow to call for help if they get worse.

Right now I'm happy that they've gone back in hiding. As far as I'm concerned, they can stay that way... >.>

*HUGS*

Thank you. :)
