People need a life...

For the first time since I started posting on Y!Gallery, one of my submissions has been reported...

*Not* for being violent and disturbing and snuff and just... everything.

Nope.

For me not crediting my own thumbnail in the comments...

*HEADDESK*

You know, some people really *do* need a life... >.>

Seriously? They need a life and a sense of purpose.

Seriously.

It was only reported, because I hadn't credited my own thumbnail.

I mean... who even *notices* whether you credit your *thumbnail*??? I look at the pic, or I read the story, I don't surf through Y! to see if someone violates the TOS with a thumbnail!

*tears at hair*

I just don't get it...

*sigh*

They obviously haven't got anything better to do with their time, which is sad really, but a pain in the arse for you.

It does make you wonder about some people though..

It sure looks like it. I mean, if you look at my story submissions, you can pretty much see that I do all my own thumbnails.

So I forgot to *say* so. >.>

Instead of just pointing it out to me in a comment - so I can edit the commentary accordingly - someone reported it. And made work for the admins, made work for me, made me sit here thinking, because I didn't know what was wrong... >.>

I'll understand if someone *really* violates the TOS - but even then...

Yeah, it really *does* make me wonder... >.>

Yupp.

Yes, they were correct. I'd made a thumbnail and I *did* forget to say in the comment to the fic 'Thumbnail made by me'. Yes, that *is* a violation of the TOS.

But wouldn't it just have been easier to point that out to me, rather than go through the whole reporting thing? I'm sure it would have taken a *lot* less effort to write that comment, than to report the whole story...

*shrugs* People...

I was really more upset - if that's even the right word for it - about the fact that reporting this was worth someone's time... If s/he'd just sent me a quick note, poking me as to my omission, I'd have taken care of it...

I can understand being worried that using licensed images will result in problems. But my thumb was quite *obviously* self made, it just lacked the credit. >.<

Yeah, some of the 'art' that's being posted, really isn't. It's the same thing with stories. >.< Some of those are just *sooo* bad - no grammar, no formatting, no proper punctuation...

Oh well. The story's back up, I've credited the hell out of every thumbnail and hopefully that will be the end of it.

Or pills.

That's just stupid.

O.o?

It looks like my reply to you was lost somewhere in the net...

Yes. Yes it is. Though the thought of pills never entered my mind... *gg*

Yupp!

As Kracken said on DA, maybe I should also credit the computer, the program, the desk, the chair I'm sitting on while I'm creating the thumbnail and the wall that I stare at when I'm not...

Idiocy.

No, but you need to credit your mother for giving birth to you! ^o^
