Hamburger Recipe?

I would like to make a really good, traditional hamburger for myself for dinner in about an hour.

Does anyone have a good recipe for me? Please be aware that I'm not going to have ingredients like Hamburger Helper available, since I'm in Germany...

I bought lean ground beef already. All I need to know is what to do with it to get a hamburger like I remember eating them while in the States...

Help? ^____^

Depending on how many I'm making, I usually add a teaspoon for every burger.

Ah... seeing as how I always make it only for myself, I won't be needing much, then...

Nope. I usually make quite a few as I'm cooking for others too, and they come out juicy and flavourful.

Do they keep? Like, if you make more and then refridgerate them?

They freeze brilliantly. I've made batches in the past, frozen them and they come out beauty when I cook them. Just remember to separate each one with wax paper of parchment paper before you freeze them.

Ah... you freeze them *before* you cook them. Ok. I use little freezer bags, so that I can always just take out one and defrost it when I'm hungry. Since I'm more or less single most of the time... ^^

I freeze them if I'm making a bunch and saving some for later. If I'm making the mix to eat that day I don't freeze it...and yeah the little freezer bags work just as good.

*is a major foodie and you should see the shite I have in my kitchen...*

I have one cabinet with stuff only for baking. One with stuff only for Asian food (Chinese and Japanese). One with all the vinegars and oils and such. One with a mix of everything else. Then several where I have tins and flour and all sorts of rice and other staples that I need regularly. :)

'Scuse me? I know it's been a couple of years since you've been out here, but I'm not exactly petite either? lol

Yeah, well... you certainly were slimmer than me...

I've lost quite a bit in the last few months but Yule is coming... and all the delicious cookies and honey cakes and spice cakes and mulled wine and...

*eyes scale*

Maybe it's a sign of a certain... maturity... that we need to be a more... rounded? ;)
