Am sick. More later.

EDIT, Tuesday, Oct. 30th:

Ok. Still not feeling very good. Thank you *all* for your good thoughts and wishes. I'll reply when I feel better.

Just quick update:
Woke up on Sunday morning with explosive diarrhea - you really don't want to know more, ok? Spent the morning more or less in the bathroom. Recovered enough to head out to pick up my daughter at a friend's house. Went to bed when we got back. Spent the afternoon underneath three *thick* blankets, shivering like there's no tomorrow. Then it switched over to fever.
During the night, the fever went up to 39,6° C (103,3° F). I kept switching from freezing to death, to burning up. Spent Monday more or less in bed, eating only dry bred and drinking black tea. Diarrhea went away, though intestines are still grumbling. Fever's gone down, but not away. Night was better, I slept almost through.
Today a bit whoozy. Maybe it's the not eating much. Had some more bread and tea. This afternoon I made a smoothie of banana, kiwi, mango and chai-lassi. Am now waiting on the intestinal results of this non-bread ingestion.
Still not quite well, and a tiny bit of temperature left.

Going back to bed.

*hugs all*

I've been doing the bananas, rice and tea part. I'm not so much into applesauce. But it seems to have helped, as I've stabilized. Even my blood pressure has gone stable again and I don't feel like I'm going to keel over any moment. Thank the Gods that it looks like I'm over the hill!

You'll probably be weak for a day or so longer. It's surprising how much that takes out of you (no pun intended.) Take care.

I can walk. I can think. That's enough to get back to work. *sigh* At least, since today's a holiday, I still have one more day to take it easy. But tomorrow I'll have to dig in... :(
