Since kebzero is posting such lovely pics of his kittens, I can't resist. ^^

Hmmm. I need one of those! My stupid cat keeps getting on the counter and knocking stuff off (she knows she's not allowed up there). That would teach her! :)

Great pics.

*Nothing* teaches cats! I finally put up a basket on my home-office desk so that the cats have a place to be, rather than spreading themselves all over my desk - and incidentally pushing everything *off*. *sigh*

The moment you're not looking, they're right back up there... ^^

Overall, I think I've had some really good cats. I have two now - one of them is the best-behaved cat I've ever had, and he learned really quickly - I had to tell him only once or twice - when we first got him - to get off of the counter, and he never did it again. The younger one, though - what an unrelenting pain-in-the-ass! She WON'T LEARN! And she's not particularly dumb, just stubborn as hell. She's one of those who's learned to do stuff when we're not watching (though, she still sometimes does it in front of us). She's like a neglected teenager trying to get negative attention (except that she's not neglected!). She drives me crazy sometimes. We actually have a big dog cage for her - that's her "room" and she gets locked in at night, or else she destroys whatever she can in the house (we had her for about a month before it occurred to me to get it for her, and we hadn't slept a single night all the way through until I did!). At least she likes her room, though - she puts herself to bed at night, and sleeps and plays in it throughout the day. She is such a spazz!

An own "room"? That's funny! We've had mischievous cats, but never one that we needed to lock in at night. But cats can be just as attention hogging as kids sometimes. ^^ My mother's cat jumps up on her office desk and starts throwing things off it when he feels neglected. ;)

Still, wouldn't want them any other way. :)

No kidding! Sometimes even worse! ;)

Yeah - I do love Maihem - she drives me crazy, but I would feel bad if she lost her "spark".
